The A-180 RF Receiver and Sensors are powerful enhancements that greatly extend the A-180 Security Monitor's capabilities. The RF Receiver is a compact unit that attaches quickly and easily to the A-180 Security Monitor. In the event of a break-in, the sensitive RF Sensors send a radio-wave signal to the RF Receiver, which immediately triggers the Security Monitor's siren. Three types of sensors are available:
Window/Door Sensor - Installs easily and is especially important for secluded, but easily accessible doors, windows and entryways.
Passive Infrared Sensor - Has a 90-degree area of coverage and will detect a moving person up to 40 feet away. Perfect for rooms, entryways and corridors.
Glass Break Sensor - Install near doors with windows, arcadia doors and picture windows. A built-in sensitivity adjustment helps prevent false alarms.
