Editor's Note

To make the people all over the world know Beijng, expand trade and economic and technical cooperation between Beijing and other countries, facilitate investments and business activities in Beijing made by foreign entrepreneurs and compatriots from Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao and build Beijing into a modern, international city, Beijing Municipal Foreign Economic & Trade Commission, Beijing Industry and Commerce Administrtive Bureau and Economic Information & Agency (Hong Kong) cooperate to edit and publish Beijing Industrial and Commercial Investment Directory.

This book gives readers information about Beijing's urban overall planning, economic and social development, government departments in charge of economic affairs and 18,000 industrial and commercial enterprises. It gathers relevant data about investments and commerce in Beijing.
